Alternately entitled:
“Monsters: A Photo Documentary About {re}Love”
or something.
Once upon a time, there lived a little green monster.
A lonely, little green monster.
This little dude was lovingly created in August 2009 by a most brilliant girl – a {re}lover of all things junk, a re-purposer of worn-out t-shirts destined for landfills, a jewelry-making guru with the environment at heart – as a welcome present for her freshly squeezed nephew…baby Bug.
While this monster was indeed loved by his little owner, being the only one in the house with button eyes and fuzzy felt teeth, make him feel…well, a little different.
And this made him feel lonely.
But then one beautiful day, this brilliant creator of fuzzy little monsters decided to make this lonely soul a mate.
She would be a gift for the baby boy’s big sister’s 3rd birthday {did you follow that?}.
Enter Monsterella.
A most lovely googly-eyed, heavily-eyelashed creature indeed.
And there was love. Lots of it.
And it was good.
The end.
{My sister is currently holding a little motivational contest on her site…you should check it out. And try to win. No, unfortunately you won’t win a monster. And no, you can’t have mine. Um, the kid’s, I mean. But there are some super pretty earrings up for grabs….So go enter anyway.}
