I’ve been a total slacker when it comes to recording my 100 Day progress, it is true, but I’ve done surprisingly well getting in my veggies and staying away from “naughty” food {bar our spontaneous midnight McDonalds run on the way home from the hospital, in search of a salty fry fix , and minus my 2 handfuls of animal crackers when 3 out of the 4 of us were sick last week}.
And the scale woos me with a 7 pound total loss this morning! I’m thrilled about this, it is true!
After being encrusted with other {little} people’s nasal secretions for days on end last week, getting slimed by amniotic fluid only slightly grossed me out. It is true.
And in case you were standing outside our family room window around 11pm last night…it is true…my husband and I were indeed enjoying a glass of red wine together…laughing our heads off…while simultaneously swatting flies. He wielded the green swatter, I donned the orange one. We were a sight to see. It was incredibly romantic.
In my excitement to lead worship at church on Sunday night, I forgot my laptop at home. With the overhead lyrics on it. I’m scatter-brained like that, it is true.
Due to my complete and utter laziness yesterday – and the fact that we’re in desperate need of a grocery run, it is {sadly} true that dinner last night consisted of grapes, watermelon and peanut-butter toast {natural, on whole wheat, if you must know}.
And yes, it is true…while the cat is away, the mice will indeed play. While my baby sister and I were in Lansing, applying 5 hours of intermittent counter pressure to our older sister’s back {during every contraction}, I was receiving picture text messages from my husband, indicating that our kids were rather, uh…blue in my absence.
wet driveway + insane amounts of powdered sidewalk chalk
= the blueman group’s apparel in my laundry room
My life is colorful.
It is true!
