We gave our little ones the opportunity to get decked out in costumes and gorge on candy {which meant 3 pieces, and 1 lollipop, respectively. Yes, I’m a sugar nazi} at a local church on Friday evening.
They loved it. We survived.
We’re not big on Halloween by any stretch of the imagination, but we realize we can’t pretend it doesn’t exist either. So this was the perfect middle ground.
After a week indoors fighting colds, this was a refreshing change of scenery! Even their beloved “auntie poo” joined us.
This was, quite possibly, the highlight of Cricket’s night!
She loves Nemo. A lot.
For the sake of nostalgia…let us reflect on how much mileage I’ve gotten out of that little turtle outfit Bug is sporting in the first picture up top…
Cricket at 15 months And again at 2 years old.
{thank you second-hand, unisex costume…you make my wallet happy!}
And feel free to notice, too, that I’m a cat. Every year.
Some say lame. I say consistent & efficient {not to mention easy to pull-off, free – thanks to cardstock ears and eyeliner – and conveniently slimming!}
Well, except for this year:
Isn’t my husband wife just lovely?
Ahem.
{please forget you ever saw this}
Over and out.
