…we got to experience it all at the Saginaw Zoo.
Well, not all. But you know, we worked through our disappointment {over no lions, or tigers, or bears…oh my}.
What we did score out of the deal was a delicious morning of adventure with our new friends, a yummy picnic lunch, and 4 {relatively} well-behaved toddlers enjoying the gloriously warm, sunny weather. Getting to talk in complete sentences was a rare joy we {mommies} took full advantage of as we indulged in getting-to-know-each-other-chit-chat!
The llama “smile” was a highlight.
Cricket loves animals. And loves touching them every chance she gets.
Even the animals were sporting the tousled, “messy” beach-hair made famous by the Baywatch babes of days gone by. Or something.
The girls were fantastic! I sense lifetime-buddy-dom blossoming here.
{saying”cheese”…with their heinies}
We made it just in time to see the penguins gulp down lunch…
while these two “love-birds” got jiggy with it…”oh look, honey…they’re cuddling!”
The customary zoo peacock. Love ‘em!
Over-priced, under-stocked children’s zoo + delightfully refreshing new friends who totally rock = a wonderful way to spend money in the morning
