I’ve spent the past 4 days just soaking up time with my precious family.
Making memories.
Our house has been filled to the brim with love…
laughter…woodstove warmth…
Mexican hot chocolate on snowy days…
Delicious moments with my sweet man.
Having a hubby to snuggle into bed with becomes a treasured delight when it only happens a couple of times a week {he works nights, in 8 day stretches, ugh}.
It’s been filled with family to celebrate…my “baby” sister turned 21.
The whole family trekked over and I made the birthday girl’s requested ‘White Lightning’ {sooo good…recipe to come}.
There have been movie dates with our little lady…
A trip to a Burger King that actually has a play land…hallelujah!
Smooches and snuggles…
Singing and dance parties…
An incredibly productive trip to the Secretary of State {which finally provided me with a valid drivers license after 6 ridiculous months of waiting!}
And enough snow to create a fabulous little snow lady {not to mention, completely obliterate 35 pounds of feisty toddler in one fell swoop}.
Oh, I adore my family!
