It’s true. Cake pops make me happy.
What’s not to love about decadent cake, all jazzed up, on a stick?
Revisit my initial cake pop tutorial here…or simply get a little refresher below {while taking in all the deliciousness of my little helper who happened to turn 3 1/2 on the day we made these bad boys – she was my inspiration}…
bake…cool…crumble…smile
Toss in some cream cheese frosting {about 1/3 to 1/2 a container}
{goodness gracious, great balls of strawberry flavored decadence}
chill. melt coating. dip stick {or for minis…dip toothpick}. insert. dunk. sprinkle.
In honor of our little lady’s half birthday {we love to celebrate…simply cut a pretty paper plate in half, a cute napkin in half…go halvies with some special treats for their half birthday…they’ll love it!!}, I piped some hearts, butterflies and an “A” {for her name} onto wax paper, from a ziplock baggie, and attached it to the top of a pop with a drop of candy coating once they were set…so easy & so pretty!
Voila! Let them eat cake.
It’s Valentine’s day on a stick.
{and with that…I’m off to Florida with my wildly wonderful family for an entire week and I’m beyond delighted about it! Be blessed!}
